History
Established in 1998,Whistler Premier has proven its ability to succeed in the highly competitive Whistler rental and Strata management market. We have grown from a start-up to the second largest Management Company in Whistler. Whistler Premier is licensed to perform Strata Management.
Our philosophy at Whistler Premier is not to be the largest Strata management company in the corridor, just the best. We strive to achieve this by working diligently to maintain a high standard of product and service.
Whistler Premier works closely with our Strata Councils to ensure that their property is maintained to a best of class standard. It is this high level of service and care that helps preserve each property for maximum investment value.
Strata Act
Our Certified Agents will work closely with the Strata Council to ensure that all Strata Act requirements are met, including the management of the General and Council Meetings. From meeting organization and minute taking, through to after-meeting distribution of the packages to the Strata Lot Owners, we will ensure this very important process is managed well.
Property and Equipment Maintenance
Daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to stringintley by the Whistler Premier Strata Maintenance staff, with an emphasis on PREVENTATIVE. The Strata Council will receive an electronic maintenance file on a bi-weekly basis with a synopsis of the previous weeks maintenance issues and the stateof the building with action items as required. Led by Tim Riley, a five year employee at Whistler Premier, our team brings a wealth of varied experience to any task.
Accounting and Adminstrative Support
Our staff of six full time Acounting and Administration support staff are ready to take care of the paperwork, from budget preperation and fee collection to accounts payable & receiveable through to financial statements and governance commitments. We have a full accounting package from personel to saftware to manage your Strata effectively with all meeting and reporting managed in a timely and accurate manner. Communication is the key as we strive to ensure the property Owner is aware of all issues and the remendy recommended as they happen.
Building Security
Our Squamish based staff are on-site every day of the year to ensure that the building is secure and that any necessary response is taken when dealing with unacceptable situations. We are available 24/7/365 and can respond immedialtey to any breach of security systems. We work seemlessly with the contracted security systems management team to ensure that immediate action is taken.
Energy Management Systems
The cost of operating a building’s energy systems continues to rise, with the continual rising of utility costs this is becoming an increasingly important part of the the annual budget. The opportunity to mitigate use and thus costs has been succcessfully implemented in our managed buildings, most notabley the Horstman House, a 51 unit Lodge located on the Blackcomb Benchlands. Whistler Premier sourced out and worked with Sempa Power Systems through the design and implementation of an energy management system that has enabled the Horstman House to save approximately 20% of energy costs even factoring in the latest utility rate increases.
