Jan 8-9, 2010 Winter Purina Incredible Dog Challenge
Showcasing some of the best performance dogs in the world, the Winter Purina Incredible Dog Challenge features competitions in Avalanche Rescue, Ski Joring, Agility, Head-to-Head 60-Weave Pole Racing and Freestyle Flying Disc. Local dogs and owners can participate in the fun Paw-and-Pole exhibition / competition, which includes fastest small dog and fastest large dog awards, a Best Costume award, in addition to a "Look-Alike" contest to see who most resembles their dog. All events are open to the public.
Jan 22-27, 2010 NiX Theatre of Snow and Ice
Bundle up at Lost Lake and enter Canada's first theatre of snow and ice. This theatrical adventure, a BC premiere, follows two survivors and an arsonist through the fireworks at the end of the world.
