Whistler Peak Lodge 605

Ottima posizione in pieno centro, comoda per visitare la città e fare camminate in zona. | Parcheggio a pagamento ma ci sono dei parcheggi non troppo distanti (500m) gratuiti di notte in alcuni periodi dell'anno (es. Estate)

Great location. Value for money. Would recommend. | Fantastic location. Central to everything and easy access to the bike park. Great value for money. I had views of the mountains and valley stroll. Kitchenette was handy to cook meals and things. Size was great as a solo traveller - had loads of room. The small clothesline in the shower was also super helpful for washing small items for my longer stay. | Not much - it was great value for money. Only real issue I had was with staff. I wouldn’t normally say anything, but it was a slight dampener on the trip. Most of the staff were amazing and super helpful with an early check-in and other requests. However, I ran into some issue with the bike storage. Some staff told me to store my bike in the luggage room next to the concierge desk. But then that was a major issue for other staff members, who were then incredibly rude to me about it. I explained to that staff member that their other colleagues were encouraging me to store it there, rather than downstairs in the carpark room. But she continued to be rude for most of the first week, until I called her out on it. Again, I wouldn’t normally say anything… I’ve worked in retail and customer service a lot - as well as in Whistler - I get it. We can’t be on all the time… maybe you have a bad day and don’t want to deal with people, but this was ongoing, and I continued to be polite to her, but was met with rudeness. I ended up moving the bike down into the storage room to avoid any conflict/interactions with that staff member. The sign says that you are storing at your own risk. I left my bike in there overnight, and came back to it the next morning, ready to ride the bike park, and my bike had been moved and I had two spokes snapped. I then couldn’t ride for a couple of days as I had tot take it to a shop to get fixed. I will still stay there again, I would just work out a bit of a safer way to store my bike.
